Custom Pieces
Some of my favourite pieces to date have been custom orders - taking a client's ideas and creating the perfect jewellery just for them.

It helps to include as much description as possible of the piece you are looking to create - including any reference images you may have.

Re-modelling Old Jewellery
Turning old or inherited jewellery into something new, is a great way to create a sentimental piece you'll treasure. This often involves melting down old rings, pendants and earrings, creating a new design and using the metal to form wire, sheet or to cast a model with.
Pricing Guide for Re-Purposing Jewellery
This is intended as a guide only, to give rough costs of custom work.
Is it cheaper to get jewellery re-modelled, rather than buy new?
Often, the answer to this is no. Although the value of the material is being taken off the final cost, it is the labour involved that forms the majority of the price. It is a much more difficult, delicate and time-consuming process to retrieve usable metal and stones from old jewellery. The only exception to this would be in the case of higher carat gold jewellery – for example 18ct, 22ct and 24ct, where depending on the design, the metal cost saved is a lot higher and may work out less expensive than buying new.
All gold/silver used must be hallmarked, as no in house testing can be performed. Often, new gold/silver will need to be added to the melt, as some weight can be lost during the melting process. Old stones can be used in some cases, but this cannot be guaranteed and is assessed on an individual basis.
Simple Ring Band – for example, a plain court wedding band, a band with some texture, etc.
This involves melting down old jewellery, and either forming into sheet/wire, or creating a wax model to cast with.
From £200.00
Solitaire Band – a ring with one stone, either with new or reused stone
From £350.00
Multi-Stone Band – a ring with more than one stone, often extra gold/silver is also needed for this, which is added to the cost. The price depends on how many stones need to be removed to be reused, how complicated the new design is etc.
From £500.00
Remodels don’t have to be rings! They can also become pendants, which can often be a little easier and therefore less costly to produce. For example, a small pebble pendant with a re-used stone can start from just £90.00.
There are lots of possibilities when it comes to using old jewellery, however it's good to have a budget in mind and be realistic with what can be achieved. Please get in touch if you'd like to discuss!
